ABOUT THE SPEAKER SERIES
Storyopolis Entertainment believes in supporting education in its’ communities. Storyopolis has established a speaker series in Arlington, Texas and Allen Texas promoting literacy and a love for reading. The Series begins in September and continues Through May.
In Arlington, Texas, we have partnered with The Texas Rangers Foundation, The Arlington Chamber Foundation, The Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau and jcpenney to bring award winning Children’s Authors and Illustrators to the Texas Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Families, educators and more attend these free events in which authors and illustrators are interviewed, attendees participate in a Q and A and books are sold for signing. The Series in Arlington is typically on the second Thursday of each month running from September through May.
Storyopolis Entertainment, the Allen Public Library and it’s Bach to Books program bring the same amazing talent to the Allen Public Library on the Second Saturday of each month. Children from ages 4 to 99 enjoy a free presentation and books are available for purchase and signing.
